TYLER VAN PELT, aSSOCIATE

EDUCATION: UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

EXPERIENCE: With several years of office experience, Tyler's approach to landscape design focuses on the user experience and creating a unique sense of space. His creativity is derived from the site's context, circulation, lighting, planting and hardscape materials. Tyler strives to utilize native planting palettes and sustainable design practices throughout every project.

In the past, Tyler has worked on a broad range of projects ranging from city planning and pocket parks to residential design and commercial spaces. Prior to joining Studio Green, Tyler's previous experience included horticulture and site design with the Walt Disney Company in Florida and later urban design work with PlaceWorks, a Berkeley based firm with a focus on planning and urban design. Currently, Tyler is contributing to the design and construction administration of several projects located through out the Bay Area. His day-to-day activities range from photo-realistic renderings, graphics, site design, construction management and construction drawings.
