NORRIS RESIDENCE
The challenge was to weave a series of outdoor living spaces into the redwood groves around this mid-century hillside home. The spaces were conceived as graphic planes with low horizontal walls that play off of the strong verticals of the redwoods. The planting challenge was to create lush areas that were also shade loving and deer resistant.
